Bokado Brasserie is relatively a new-comer to the San Fernando Valley scene. It is situatuated in Studio City on a famous Ventura Blvd. Bokado is a bistro with a modern decor which offers a Spanish-inspired menu mainly consisiting of tapas (small dishes). Bokado litterally means- small bites- in Spanish. Tapas are a perfect way to try a lot of the restaurant's dishes and also share a meal as a group. This restaurant has a great outdoor dining area with a firepit, which is perfect for lounging with a drink or to have a full meal as well.

Bokado has a happy hour on weekdays when their tapas and drinks are 25% off.

Happy Hour: Mondays-Fridays, from 3:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.

Personal Favorites: Cheese & Charcuterrie Board (cold cuts, cheese, pickled vegetables, dried fruit and more), Shrimp & Crab Claws cocktail with sauce and Sauteed Mushrooms.

Pinot Bistro- Dining with No Corkage Fee

Pinot Bistro is a French restaurant that is both trendy and ultra cozy. Inside the restaurant, you will find fresh flowers which adorn every white clothed table and a fireplace, which adds to the warm inviting feeling of this place. Not only does Pinot Bistro have a great ambience, but their service is 5 star as well. It is not intrusive but yet manages to be attentive at the right moments, where it makes you feel well taken care of. When I was there, the waiter even brought out a basket of Pommes Frittes for our table compliments of the chef.

There is no dining deal at this restaurant, however it has no corkage fee so you can bring your own bottle of wine and save money on your dining experience that way. Also, you can share a meal together and they will split the meal for you for no extra cost.

Personal Favorites: French onion soup, Ceasar Salad with anchovies (probably the best I ever tasted) and an amazing shallot sauce which comes with any choice of steak.
